Hudson Valley Custom Home

Explore this custom new home in Stone Ridge, NY.  We worked directly with the customer from initial concept to final construction. After the architectural designs were produced, we got straight to work taking the existing structure down to the foundation. We then constructed a double story home with James Hardie board and batten siding with a black standing seam metal roof. A vaulted ceiling in the main space with massive windows to draw in daylight for days welcomes you as you walk in the front door. Kahrs oak flooring and Sherwin Williams paint throughout create a neutral palate. By adding accents of matte black from Kohler's Purist line and DalTile Assembly line, these help to ground the space and create bold statements. Overall this design works well as a contemporary take on a weekend hideaway!
