Set inside a distinctive octagon home in Pawling, NY, this kitchen renovation was designed to bring a modern sensibility to a space full of character. The clients wanted a contemporary upgrade that felt fresh and architectural, yet still in harmony with the home’s original charm.

Timber self-performed every phase of the project—from demolition through full custom fabrication and installation—allowing for complete control over the details. The new kitchen centers around matte blue Fenix cabinetry paired with Shinnoki white oak accents, creating a warm, refined contrast. Every cabinet, panel, and transition was custom built by our team to accommodate the geometry of the eight-sided structure.

Working within an octagon required precise layout and an adaptive approach, but the result is a space that feels effortless: modern, inviting, and perfectly integrated with the rest of the home. The finished kitchen is both a design statement and a comfortable everyday living space, tailored entirely to the way the clients live.
