In this project, we completely gutted a cramped bathroom and transformed it into a sleek, contemporary oasis. By embracing a crisp black-and-white color scheme and carefully selecting materials, we maximized both style and functionality in a limited footprint.

Key Features & Design Choices

1. Clean Black + White Vibe

   • Monochromatic Palette: A bold black-and-white color scheme underpins the entire design, providing a modern edge while visually enlarging the space.

   • CLE Tile Shower: The new tiled shower, featuring high-quality CLE tile, adds texture and dimension. The classic white subway tile paired with dark grout and black fixtures creates a striking contrast.

2. Frameless Glass Enclosure

   • Open, Airy Feel: A frameless glass shower door eliminates visual barriers, making the bathroom feel more expansive than its actual footprint.

   • Sleek Lines: The minimal hardware complements the room’s streamlined aesthetic, further emphasizing the clean, contemporary look.

3. Space-Saving Fixtures

   • Compact Vanity & Sink: Choosing a smaller vanity and wall-mounted sink frees up floor space without sacrificing functionality.

   • Smart Storage: Built-in niches or shelving (as shown in some of the images) ensure toiletries and essentials are kept neatly organized.

4. Attention to Detail

   • Black Hardware & Accents: From the showerhead to the door handle, matte black fixtures unify the design and tie together the monochromatic theme.

   • Hexagonal Floor Tile: If included in the images, black hex tile flooring provides an eye-catching pattern underfoot, complementing the rectangular subway tile on the walls.

The Final Result

Despite the tight quarters, this Chester, NY bathroom now boasts a bright, open feel thanks to thoughtful design decisions and a cohesive black-and-white palette. The combination of CLE tile, frameless glass, and matte black fixtures delivers a chic, modern vibe that feels both functional and inviting.
