A Warm, Bold Bathroom Design

In this bathroom, tile truly takes center stage. The client chose a striking burnt orange glazed tile from Garden State Tile, setting the tone for a space that feels both bold and welcoming. A glass-enclosed shower showcases the dramatic tile, while half-wall oak paneling adds warmth and ensures the room remains visually balanced without feeling overwhelming.

Key Design Elements

  • Burnt Orange Focal Point
The glazed tile provides a rich, textured backdrop that instantly draws the eye. By positioning it as the main feature in the shower area, we’ve created a statement wall that infuses the bathroom with cozy yet dynamic energy.

  • Oak Half-Wall Paneling
Installed halfway up the walls, the oak paneling offers a rustic-meets-modern vibe, preventing the deep orange tile from dominating the space. This design choice adds texture and creates a harmonious transition from floor to ceiling.

  • Neutral Floors & Walls
DalTile floors and neutral wall paint help the bathroom feel bright and spacious, subtly echoing the earthy tones of the oak and orange tile. This cohesive palette allows the bold tile to shine without overwhelming the room.

  • Bold Vanity & Soft Fixtures
A dark vanity anchors the space, while brushed faucet fixtures provide a gentle contrast. This blend of bold and subtle elements ensures the design remains eye-catching yet serene, striking the perfect balance between style and comfort.

The result is a bathroom that embraces color and texture without sacrificing functionality. By pairing a bold tile choice with thoughtful paneling, neutral floors, and well-chosen fixtures, we’ve achieved a look that’s both inviting and distinctive—proving that modern design can be warm, cozy, and undeniably stylish.
